Good evening parents and students!
It is finally Friday! This week has felt so long since we haven't had a full five days lately!

MONDAY IS PJ's DAY, so come comfy!

 St Jude's Academy is proud to announce that a new and exciting soccer program (St Jude's FC) is taking applications for its inaugural season. By joining the club you would become part of a team and have the opportunity to play games against other Ontario Academy teams. Please see the flyer below for more detail.

UOI:
Today we spent almost all our time working on our Body Systems Project! Students were focused and got a lot accomplished. Many students have shown me their written component but have asked to take that work home and type it up for their display. This is fine, as long as I have seen the original work done in class!

 All parents are welcome to join us Tuesday March 6th for our Body World Exhibit, the class will be open at 3 until 3:30 and you can take your child home afterwards.

Math:
Today we looked at Tree Diagrams and how they show us combinations of outcomes. Students found this to be a fairly easy concept as soon as they figured out how to best organize the options for each category and how to link them together to make a path. Here is a link that also explains what we looked at.

Spirit week is happening the week of Monday, March 5 – Friday, March 9:
-Monday will be PJ Day
-Tuesday will be Superhero/Princess Day
-Wednesday will be Wacky Wednesday
-Thursday we will be at the Science Centre (students in full uniform)
-Friday we will be at our ski trip

A note from Ms. Bancud regarding March lunch orders – March hot lunch payments are due this Friday.

A note about March Break Camp - Registration forms were sent home back in October. We have had many students sign up since then and especially the last few days. If you are interested in registering your child for our amazing March Break camp, please send in the completed registration form, along with the $20 one-time non-refundable deposit in order to secure your child's spot (this could be paid in cash or through fresh books). This year there are two options to chose from the first being lunch and two snacks provided or the second being send your own packed lunch and a discounted camp rate!
