Good evening parents and students!

Tomorrow is Wacky Wednesday, make sure to wear your wackiest clothes!

Tomorrow is also the Soccer Tournament, for those who paid the two dollars to attend. If students are attending, they will be going to watch the soccer tournament in Oakville, they will be gone from 9am until approximately 1pm.

Important Dates Coming up:
Science Centre March 8- We are leaving the school at 9am sharp. This means that students need to be at school no later than 8:30am. This will give us plenty of time to talk about the day before we leave. Students are to be sent with a packed, litter-less lunch. We will arrive back in time for regular dismissal.

Ski Trip March 9- Students are expected to be at the school between 6:30 and 6:45am, the bus leaves at 7am sharp. We will arrive back at the school for 4pm. Please make sure students once again have a packed litter-less lunch and have a change of clothes with them.

Math:
Today students completed their final Math Quiz of the term. I was impressed to see students really using their knowledge and vocabulary!

UOI:
Today was our Body World Exhibit. It was great to see all students confidently talking to students (of all ages) and teachers. They will be able to take home their models tomorrow to show at home! Here are a few pictures from our Exhibit:

Notes:

As a reminder: St.Jude's Academy is now affiliated with an official soccer club called St. Jude's FC. Students of St.Jude are given a 33% discount that will allow them to join the club and play competitively with other soccer clubs this spring and summer (starting most likely April to September). The students will be working with excellent coaches and going to competitions on the weekend. Practices will be held (most likely) right after school twice a week. In April, besides the soccer field, the students will have a chance to play in our official soccer dome!
This is a great opportunity!! 
The students have been given forms , they should try to submit the form as soon as possible.

Spirit week is happening the week of Monday, March 5 – Friday, March 9:
-Monday will be PJ Day
-Tuesday will be Superhero/Princess Day
-Wednesday will be Wacky Wednesday
-Thursday we will be at the Science Centre (students in full uniform)
-Friday we will be at our ski trip

A note from Ms. Bancud regarding March lunch orders – March hot lunch payments are due this Friday. 

A Note from Ms. Ross about Aftercare- The February after care invoices have been sent out. They are due on March 19th. After this date late charges will apply. If a child’s after care invoice has not been paid in full by March 28th, then the report card will be held until it is paid in full.

A note about March Break Camp - Registration forms were sent home back in October. We have had many students sign up since then and especially the last few days. If you are interested in registering your child for our amazing March Break camp, please send in the completed registration form, along with the $20 one-time non-refundable deposit in order to secure your child's spot (this could be paid in cash or through fresh books). This year there are two options to chose from the first being lunch and two snacks provided or the second being send your own packed lunch and a discounted camp rate!
